Celebrating Whitman's 200th birthday with ANIMATION + POETRY!

For our two events, local poets read from Walt Whitman's, between poets we screened thirteen animated films. Ten of the films were made specifically for this event.

Animators ranged in experience from first-time filmmakers to an Academy Award winner. The youngest artist was six years old.
